Clun Parish Paths Partnership We extend a warm welcome to all walkers. For easier day-long parking in Clun, walkers should use the 70 space Clun Memorial Hall free car park, at GR:302811, to ease pressure on the essentially short-stay Clun Bridge car park. Please encourage your group leaders and other visiting walkers to use the Memorial Hall. We like to think that public rights of way in Clun Parish are in reasonable order. Should you find obstructions, damaged stiles or fingerposts, or cross-field paths that have not been re-instated through crops (not grass) when walking anywhere in Shropshire, please report the problem to:
Countryside Access Team, or to [email protected] Please quote a grid reference and a description of the location as clearly and detailed as possible. For the information of leaders, visiting walking groups may, by prior arrangement with Peter James 01588 640027, use the toilets at the Memorial Hall at the start of their walk. Please note that the hall is used by Parents and Toddlers on every Thursday and therefore for safety reasons the toilets are not available. Explorer Maps 201 and 216 provide more than adequate coverage of all the walking routes, while 'Clun Walks' available in Clun provides a selection of 10 local circular walks.
