 The nearest Household Recycling Centre to Clun is at the Long Lane Industrial Estate at Craven Arms.  From Monday 7th March to Saturday 29th October 2005 the opening times are:

Weekdays 9 am to 7 pm
Week-ends and Bank Holidays 9 am to 6 pm

The following materials can be recycled:

  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Newspapers and magazines
  • CFC's and Household Appliances
  • Car Oil and Car Batteries
  • Textiles
  • Cans
  • Cardboard
  • Furniture and/or Bric-A-Brac
  • Plastic Bottles
  • Garden Waste for composting
  • Timber
  • Household Batteries
  • Fluorescent Tubes

Non-recyclable waste can also be deposited.  Trade Waste and larger quantities of construction/demolition waste and soil (more than 1 tonne) will not be accepted.
