The extensive garden of Radnor Cottage, Clun, will be
open to the public from 2 to 6 pm on the following dates: Group visits to the garden on other days are welcome (April or June including week-ends). Please phone for details. Tel: 01588 640451 The two acre garden planted for all-year-round interest is on a south facing slope. Daffodils, cottage garden borders, dry stone walls, terracing with herbs and alpines, stream and bog garden, willow collection, native trees, orchard and meadow. All proceeds go to charity; most to the National Garden Scheme (Supporting Macmillan Nurses, The National Trust Garden Fund etc). This year the "local share" to Alzheimers Research Trust. Radnor Cottage is situated opposite the entrance to Hurst Mill Farm
(signposted) on the B4368 Craven Arms to Clun Road just before you reach
the outskirts of Clun. |
