Freedom of Information Act 2000
From 1st January
2005 the Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives people the right to request
information (subject to a number of exemptions) from public authorities,
including Clun and Chapel Lawn Parish Council.

Requests for
Information
A request for information should be in writing and addressed to the
Parish Clerk at the address below. The applicant should clearly
state the information required and include, if possible, information
that would aid the Clerk in locating the document. The applicant
will be able to view the document by arrangement with the Parish Clerk.
If the applicant requires a photocopy of the document the charge will be
£1 per page plus postage.
Applicants undertaking historical
research should note that many of the old Parish Records, including those
of the parish church, are now lodged with the Shropshire County Archive
Service (external link)
